Canada Zoom School is a Private Virtual School offering high-quality Canadian Educational Services to high school students all over the world. CZS is an inspected private school granting OSSD credits with Ontario Ministry of Education BSID# 665178.
Attend classes and courses anywhere with a computer and access to the internet.
It offers a lot of saving because there are no additional costs for transportation and accommodation.
Students are exposed to knowledge shared by the instructors around the globe which cannot be learned in books.
This course enables students to extend their knowledge of functions. Students will investigate and apply properties of polynomial, exponential, and trigonometric functions; continue to represent functions numerically, graphically, and algebraically; develop facility in simplifying expressions and solving equations; and solve problems that address applications of algebra, trigonometry, vectors, and geometry. Students will reason mathematically and communicate their thinking as they solve multi-step problems. This course prepares students for a variety of college technology programs.
Prerequisite: Functions and Applications, Grade 11, University/College Preparation, or Functions, Grade 11, University Preparation
This course broadens students’ understanding of mathematics as it relates to managing data. Students will apply methods for organizing and analysing large amounts of information; solve problems involving probability and statistics; and carry out a culminating investigation that integrates statistical concepts and skills. Students will also refine their use of the mathematical processes necessary for success in senior mathematics. Students planning to enter university programs in business, the social sciences, and the humanities will find this course of particular interest.
Prerequisite: Functions, Grade 11, University Preparation, or Functions and Applications, Grade 11, University/College Preparation
This course builds on students’ previous experience with functions and their developing understanding of rates of change. Students will solve problems involving geometric and algebraic representations of vectors and representations of lines and planes in three-dimensional space; broaden their understanding of rates of change to include the derivatives of polynomial, sinusoidal, exponential, rational, and radical functions; and apply these concepts and skills to the modelling of real-world relationships. Students will also refine their use of the mathematical processes necessary for success in senior mathematics. This course is intended for students who choose to pursue careers in fields such as science, engineering, economics, and some areas of business, including those students who will be required to take a university-level calculus, linear algebra, or physics course.
Note: The new Advanced Functions course (MHF4U) must be taken prior to or concurrently with Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U).
I have chosen to study at RPS because RPS has a small population of students, which means the teacher can focus on every student. The benefits of a smaller class are Each Student Gets Noticed. Classes Become a Community, each student gets to participate, Students and Teachers Can Work One-on-One, and can share ideas to each other. RPS is helping me for my future by providing me a great education, it prepares me for university and adult life. When I first came to Canada, RPS helped me with developing my English skills and I made some friends here.
My parents found private schools to be more academically challenged, exposed to clearer value systems, given greater access to teachers, and may simply feel safer. And after seeing their bright history, we decided to move RPS.In smaller size classes, it’s more difficult for students to hide and get left behind. Having fewer students means that each one can get the attention they need from their teacher. They are also encouraged to take part in discussions and driven to express their opinions and not only do students learn more in small classes, but they also learn faster. And this means the class progresses through the course material more quickly.
I chose to study at Rutherford Private School because I believe that being able to study alongside driven and hardworking students creates a healthier and better environment for me as I am preparing myself for university. Having less students per class helps on become more motivated and driven as they are able to further understand the material being conveyed by the teacher and are able to ask questions more easily. RPS had already successfully helped me in reaching my goal of being accepted to Schulich School of Business where I intend to further my education and use techniques cush as self-learning that I have been able to acquire during my time at this school. Studying at RPS has taught me the importance of technology and its significance in the world today and how every day it is constantly being innovated.
